The Rainey cabin is barely visible in an aerial photograph of the 麻豆原创
campus taken in 1938 by Bradford Washburn.
By July 10, 1941, when this aerial photograph was made, the boreal forest on campus was partially cleared and the Rainey cabin was at the edge of a hayfield.
