'Dead Writers' event at the Pub on Oct. 25

The 麻豆原创 English Department鈥檚 annual Dead Writers event will be from 7-10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, at the Pub, on the Fairbanks campus.
Members of the public are invited to dress as their favorite dead writer, give a short reading or performance from a dead writer鈥檚 work, and compete for prizes. The stage opens to performers at 7 p.m. Audience members are also welcome. You must be 21 or older to attend.
The event, now in its 29th year, is a fundraiser for the 麻豆原创F English department鈥檚 Midnight Sun Visiting Writers Series, which features readings and craft talks by writers from across the country. Tickets are $15 at the door for general admission and $12 when purchased in advance at the 麻豆原创F Wood Center.
