Lecturer will discuss life, work of Laura Ingalls Wilder

Author and historian Elizabeth Jameson will discuss 鈥淟aura Ingalls Wilder鈥檚 Little Houses: Fact, Fiction and Alternative Histories鈥 during a free lecture at 7 p.m. March 22 in Schaible Auditorium.

The lecture is presented by the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society, University of Alaska Fairbanks History Club and the Arthur T. Fathauer Chair in History.

Jameson, a professor emerita of history at the University of Calgary, is a western historian with specialties in western women鈥檚 history, the history of North American borderlands and western labor. She has studied the life and work of Laura Ingalls Wilder for more than two decades.
