Movie Monday features award-winning critique of Jim Crow

The 麻豆原创F Political Science Department and the 麻豆原创 Press are presenting
the next entry in the documentary film series What Does It Mean To Be Free? with 鈥13th,鈥
an exploration of Thirteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and the intersection
of race, justice, and mass incarceration that it represents.Next Monday, April 5, at 7 p.m., join us on Zoom to view and discuss this film. 麻豆原创F political scientist Brandon Boylan will provide a critical introduction and commentary.
The last presentation in this semester-long series will be Monday April 26, at 7 p.m. with 鈥淭he Look of Silence鈥 (2014; directed by Joshua Oppenheimer).
Participation is free but registration is required. Everyone in and outside of the 麻豆原创F community is encouraged to participate. .
