麻豆原创F Day is Aug. 7 at Tanana Valley State Fair

The 麻豆原创 is sponsoring 麻豆原创F Day at the Tanana Valley State Fair on Tuesday, Aug. 7, featuring displays, activities and a discount on fair admission.
The day will include numerous 麻豆原创F activities throughout the fair. Visitors will have an opportunity to take their picture with 麻豆原创F鈥檚 mascot, Nook, check out the University Fire Department ladder truck and see the latest publications from 麻豆原创 Press. 麻豆原创F employees, students, alumni and friends will receive $1 off admission by wearing 麻豆原创F apparel or showing their Polar Express card.
麻豆原创F also will have a booth at the Borealis Pavilion, which will have 麻豆原创F Community and Technical College class schedules, applications and details about the upcoming semester. More than 125 free 麻豆原创F Cooperative Extension Service publications will be available on gardening, energy, food preparation and more.
Cooperative Extension will host several 4-H activities on 麻豆原创F Day, such as a horse show (9 a.m., Horse Arena), rabbit and cavy showmanship (10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Golden Wheel Pavilion), poultry showmanship (3-7 p.m., Golden Wheel Pavilion) and market poultry and rabbit show (7:30-9 p.m., Golden Wheel Pavilion).
Other 4-H events during the week include a large-animal livestock showmanship demonstration (4-7 p.m. Aug. 4, Livestock Show Arena), fashion revue (12:30 p.m. Aug. 5, Big Top Tent), horse show (10:30 a.m. Aug. 6, 9 a.m. Aug. 7-8, Horse Arena), 4-H bakeoff (noon Aug. 8, Badger Hall kitchen) and market livestock auction (6-10 p.m. Aug 10, Livestock Show Arena).
The 麻豆原创F Alumni Association will offer a food booth throughout the fair near the midway, where alumni will make burgers and other treats. Proceeds from the booth fund 麻豆原创F student scholarships.
