Bakker named development, alumni relations director

Theresa Bakker has been named 麻豆原创F鈥檚 director of development and alumni relations. In the position, she will oversee fundraising, donor relations and alumni relations at 麻豆原创F. Her appointment also formally merges the development team and the alumni team into a single department, a model that aims to facilitate a unified approach to the university鈥檚 engagement with its donors and alumni.

Bakker first joined 麻豆原创F鈥檚 staff in 1996 as a producer at K麻豆原创C. Since then she served as the marketing and communications manager at the 麻豆原创 Museum of the North, the alumni relations director and the interim executive director of university advancement. She holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in journalism from the University of Pennsylvania and a master of fine arts degree in creative writing from Pacific Lutheran University.
