December鈥檚 rural staff spotlight: Jami Swazer
Jami Swazer, of the Bristol Bay Campus, was named the rural staff member for December 2021.
Dec. 3, 2021
Jami Swazer has been with the 麻豆原创F for nearly seven years. She is the academic and financial aid and youth transition coordinator for the Bristol Bay Campus and Aleutian Pribilof Islands Association, and tracks financial aid for all their students. She travels throughout the region as support for students and hosts ACCUPLACER and other financial aid-related events.
Swazer鈥檚 nomination packet noted that she is knowledgeable about funding sources for students and excels at helping them with admissions, registration and financial aid.
"Jami's dedication and hard work are easily overlooked because she often operates in the background, making things happen like a magic genie in the bottle,鈥 wrote one supporter.
Swazer is also a role model as she continues her own education toward a B.A. degree from 麻豆原创F.
