The 麻豆原创 will host 麻豆原创F Day at the Tanana Valley State Fair on Tuesday, Aug. 2.
麻豆原创F employees, students, alumni and friends will receive $1 off admission by wearing 麻豆原创F apparel or showing their PolarExpress card. The day will include 麻豆原创F activities throughout the fairgrounds.
The University Fire Department ladder truck and giant inflatable Nanook will be set up in Totem Square from noon to 7 p.m. Nook, 麻豆原创F鈥檚 mascot, will make appearances throughout the day. The bookstore will be on site selling 麻豆原创F merchandise.
Inside the Borealis Pavilion, 麻豆原创F will have several special exhibits and activities:
- See this year鈥檚 award-winning steel bridge.
- Engineer and build spaghetti bridges.
- Learn about unmanned aircraft.
- Prepare for a wildfire near your home in virtual reality.
- Try out mountaineering and packrafting gear.
In addition to these special activities, 麻豆原创F also will have several booths at the Borealis Pavilion throughout the fair. Visitors can learn about applying to 麻豆原创F, try on a career with the 麻豆原创F Community and Technical College, learn about 3D printing and find more than 125 free 麻豆原创F Cooperative Extension Service publications covering gardening, energy, food preparation and more.
Cooperative Extension will host several 4-H activities on 麻豆原创F Day, such as a horse show, rabbit and cavy showmanship event, poultry showmanship event, and market poultry and rabbit show.
