Outstanding Student of the Year
Every year, the College of Liberal Arts asks each department to select its outstanding student(s) for that year- students who possess the passion and creativity for new discoveries and scholarship, students who demonstrate independence of thought and action in the pursuit of knowledge, and students who exemplify excellence.
The Department of Social Work has chosen the following as students who embody these qualities and so much more. Thank you for all your hard work and contributions to your department. You make a difference at 麻豆原创F.
Congratulations to our 2026 Outstanding Student of the Year!

B.A. Social Work, Japanese Studies
"The Indigenous pedagogy really makes the 麻豆原创F program unique, because other social
work programs across the nation really don't have that emphasis... Most social work
curricula don't have a specific class for rural social work, which is a really big
part of social work. It's a whole different type of service delivery. The fact that
we are unique in that has made me be like, wow, I'm so grateful that I joined this,
because I wouldn't even know about this whole part of social work that's really important."
